View the graphic representation of practically any mathematical function.

Descartes lets you view the graphs of algebraic functions in different ways. Among them are included polar and cartesian co-ordinates, or parametric and intrinsic functions. The range of functions already included in the program is very wide: from simple trigonomic or hyperbolic functions to ceiling or gamma functions. Descartes also includes on-line HTML help in the same program.

In addition to the functions that come defined in the program, the user can also define their own, and see the resulting graphs. For example f(x)= 1 + x o g(x) = f(x) + 2*x. You can define all types of variables in the functions, and the complexity can extend to the infinite.
